IN A STATION OF THE METRO

During my Colorado visit I found Ezra Pound's Biography at a used book store [in Denver].
In turn, it made me think of why I keep coming back to this poem:

The apparition of these faces in the crowd ;
Petals on a wet, black bough.

(I haven't [yet] found a way to articulate my conclusions)
